I just have to write a post to say how proud I am of my dear Jason for his GREAT accomplishment of making it all the way to Mt. Baldy on his bike. This is a big deal since he hasn't been up there in 15 years. Since his return to cycling 4 years ago it has been a goal of his to make the journey to Mt. Baldy once again but he just wasn't able to do it...until now!
Awesome, Jason - what a great accomplishment! Just be careful, OK?

He is clearly insane. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome accomplishment, though! I bet the ride home was fun. :)
wow! go jason!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's incredible!
ReplyDeleteYeah for Jason!!! I am so glad he was able to reach his goal and not give up!!
ReplyDeleteMark misses riding with him, no mountains here in TX.
Hooray for Jason! Keep up the pedalin'
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody. I know Jason appreciates your kind words!
ReplyDeleteJason misses riding w/ Mark too! He was his favorite riding buddy.
wow thats awesome. Are you still a bike widow on Saturdays?
ReplyDeleteHi Therese- I don't use that term anymore. I realized it was kind of negative. The way I look at it now is that he sits in a car and then sits at a desk every single day. It's good for his body and mind to get outside for a few hours every Saturday morning. One perk of his becoming a more accomplished rider is that it takes him less and less time to do treks like this. Last week he was back home by 10:30am!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for being a loving and supportive wife! Its good to look at the positives! I try to do the same when Brian works long hours.
ReplyDeleteWhat peak will he capture next! Congrats for today needs new goals for tomorrow. ma-in-la
