Week Three- On Pause

I've been on workout hiatus since Wednesday due to the fires that just won't quit and weather in the 100's.

Huge bummer. That air is soooo bad for you, too. Ick. I'm praying it all gets under control soon!!

Getting restarted can be harder than the initial push. I know you can do it! Maybe it will help if you keep the 20 min reserved for the program with an alternative exercise focusing more on flexibility and stretching. Keep you limber and ready to RUNNNNNNNNNNN when the smoke clears! ma-ma-in-la

Me too. I'm starting to think it isn't even good to let the kids play outside much.

That's a good point Mom. I'm kind of concerned about that too. That I'll lose my momentum. I was really wishing I could jog today though after J came home. That's a good idea about doing 20 minutes of something else. Maybe just sit-ups and push ups and things?

Don't give up Jamie. I'm cheering you on. One, two, three, be all that you can beeeee. *giggle* So I'm not a good cheerleader.

But seriously, don't give up. You inspire lazy bums like me to get off the couch and think about going for a walk pushing the double stroller.

Tell me about it. We haven't been on our walks either. It's horrible out there.

What about jogging indoors? I know that sounds crazy, but jogging in place is what I do.

Thanks Maribel! Hey why not join on in? Well as soon as the air clears up.

So it's bad by you too Therese? Seems like it is bad all over.

I've been meaning to read some of the details of the Couch to 5K but something else always comes up. I'm not sure where my day goes, but I do want to make time for some form of regular exercise for me. I need to find an exercise buddy.

You're right as soon as the air clears up. I hear it be another week before fire containment.

Okies, am having tech difficulties so not sure if you got last message...
Anyhoo, I was so touched by you our Bradely class reunion. How moving to have all those parents and babies together.
Well seeing your blog and especially seeing the pic of Bry with Natalie I got very emotional. Bry is such a man now. And seeing him grown holding your fragile baby was more than this Auntie could take.
Well, I am proud of you---and my Mom would have been extremely proud of you Jamers. You and Jason have a beautiful family and my only regret is that I don't get to share in the every day moments/disappointments/joys.
You are loved and missed.
Big Hugs,
